Gostišče Pevc & Hostel Ljubno ob Savinji is traditional Slovene countryside guesthouse or gostilna, located in Upper Savinja Valley in pre-alpine village Ljubno. It is a friendly fammily own guest house open for over 50 years!
Guesthouse offers both
food and accomodation. Restaurant is open all year round and daily offers
fresh home-made food. Meals are served in a pleasant atmosphere of 2 dinning rooms, which can
be modified in the conference room, and in an outdoor terrace, wich is cooled by the gentle mountain breeze in the hot summer.
Affordable
Bed & Breakfast in brightly decorated rooms with traditional wooden furniture, home-made breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Total of 18 beds available, mostly rooms with private bathroom (double beds), equipped in hotel standards (cable TV, hairdrier, WiFi, balcony) and aditional hostel rooms with sepparate bathroom in the same floor.
Half board and full board available for little extra charge, includes local cuisine of Slovenia countryside. There is
free parking, free WiFi throughout the facility and
free rent-a bike for guest. You can expect a warm hospitable welcome and service.

The Savinja river gave its name to the series of valleys that are ranked as some of the most picturesque parts of Slovenia, renowned for the variety of natural beauty and remarkable state of preservation. The Valley area includes the municipalities of Mozirje, Nazarje, Gornji Grad, Rečica, Ljubno, Luče and Solčava and covers some 507 km2.
The Valley Logarska dolina is one the most beautiful glaciated valley in Europe. It is some 9 km long, on average about 500 m wide. Logarska is encircled by a horseshoe of ridges that contain 2.ooo m highpeaks with steep rocky cliffs (Ojstrica, Planjava, Brana...). There are more than forty natural sites of interest in valley - such as waterfalls (Rinka, Palenk...), rock-pillars, rare flora and wildlife...
Wide spread beech and mixed forests, containing a lot of spruce, cover the foothills of the Savinja Alps. The upper Savinja valley offers routes, tracks and climbs suitable for visitors of all ages and phisical ability. In the company of a professional guide one can visit some wonderful hidden places, where few people ever venture and where nature is still perserved in its primeval state. Tourism in the Upper Savinja Valley is further enhanced by its natural and cultural attractions, of wich more then one hundred are worth visiting.

Picking fruits of the forest, taking relaxing walks or difficult hikes, we highly recommend wonderfull area around Smrekovec and Komen the only vulcano soil in Slovenia is rich in biodiversity. The river Savinja offers a relaxingcool down, you can go for a swim in the whirlpools or try rafting or fly-fishing.
